Similarity Thresholds
Plagiarism Limit: Overall similarity must be below 15% (less than 5% from any single source).
Screening Tool: All submissions are screened using advanced plagiarism detection software prior to peer review.
Exclusions: References, bibliographies, and standard quotes are excluded during screening.
Prohibited Conduct
Direct copying, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, and image manipulation are strictly forbidden.
All external ideas, figures, and research text must be correctly cited.
Generative AI Policy
Authorship: AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) cannot be listed as authors.
Allowed Use: AI may only be used for basic grammar polishing.
Disclosure: Core content or data generated using AI must be explicitly declared upon submission.
Compliance & Actions
Pre-Review: Papers exceeding similarity limits will be desk-rejected or returned for revision before review.
Post-Publication: If ethical or high similarity issues are identified later, a formal Retraction notice will be issued.
